Since 2006, the Stigma and Resilience among Vulnerable Youth Centre (SARAVYC) has been conducting rigorous, cutting-edge, and award-winning research that studies how stigma, discrimination, violence, and trauma affect young people’s health. Our goal is to identify factors that foster youth resilience in spite of stigma.
SARAVYC is a multi-disciplinary, international team. By collaborating with youth and their communities, we aim to develop interventions that not only improve health outcomes and equity, but also influence policies and practices worldwide.
